Who am I?
A UK-based data scientist and programmer with experience in economics and healthcare research. A chronic generalist of the type the modern world is not designed for.

What this blog covers?
My PhD was in economics of healthcare so I try to focus on this but am also prone to rambling about sustainability, urbanisation and anything else that takes my interest.

What are my politics?
Broadly social democratic with an anti-authoritarian streak. Although much of my working life has been spent in technology I’ve become sceptical about its benefits, and those of civilisation generally. However there is no practical prospect of rolling back either so expect some conflicting viewpoints.

Why am I writing this blog?
To collect thoughts, learn more about the world, share insights and spout contrary opinions.
